FLOW
An Inspirational Journey Through Rhythm, Sound, and Visual Art
FLOW is an immersive percussion, soundscape, and visual experience created and performed by John Fav. Through original music, dynamic percussion, crystal singing bowls, synchronized video, spoken word, and audience interaction, FLOW takes audiences on a journey through rhythm, creativity, mindfulness, and inspiration.
More than a drum concert, FLOW is a multimedia performance where the drum set becomes the storyteller. Drawing from jazz fusion, rock, world rhythms, and contemporary percussion, Jon performs original compositions that guide audiences through a series of musical and emotional landscapes. Each piece is enhanced by a custom video presentation that plays in sync with the music, creating a powerful and engaging audio-visual experience.
Throughout the performance, John weaves together intricate rhythmic patterns, expressive grooves, spoken word, and storytelling. The result is a unique presentation that engages audiences musically, visually, emotionally, and spiritually.
A featured portion of FLOW is the Soundscape Experience, an immersive journey through sound, vibration, and atmosphere. Using crystal singing bowls, ambient percussion, 432hz music, spoken word, and synchronized visuals, John creates a space for reflection, imagination, and deep listening. This captivating segment provides a beautiful contrast to the energy and excitement of the rhythmic portions of the performance, allowing audiences to experience music in a deeply personal and meaningful way.
What makes FLOW unique is its ability to connect with a wide range of audiences. Musicians and drummers appreciate the artistry, creativity, and technique, while general audiences are drawn into the music, visuals, storytelling, and emotional impact of the experience.
The performance concludes with an interactive audience Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions about music, creativity, performance, touring, meditation practices, and the inspiration behind the show.
Whether performed in a theater, performing arts center, educational setting, house of worship, drum School, Drum Store, festival, or community venue, FLOW delivers an unforgettable experience that leaves audiences energized, inspired, and transformed.
From Jon Fav
"FLOW is a reflection of everything that has inspired me throughout my life—music, creativity, faith, personal growth, the people in my life, and the artists whose work has helped shape my journey. Through original music, rhythm, soundscapes, visuals, and spoken word, I want to share the songs, feelings, and affirmational messages that I strive to live by every day.
I don't always get there, but when everything comes together—when purpose, gratitude, creativity, and connection align—I experience what I call flow. This performance is an invitation for audiences to pause, listen deeply, and discover what helps them find that same sense of flow in their own lives."
